Spreadsheet workflows
Most data cleanup ends up in a spreadsheet. This hub groups the spreadsheet-friendly formats CSVall supports and links the tools that move data between CSV, Excel, Google Sheets, TSV, TXT, PDF, and Markdown tables.
Prepare CSV data for Excel or Google Sheets, collaborate in a spreadsheet, then export clean CSV for databases, CRMs, ecommerce imports, or reporting.
Convert Markdown tables from README files, documentation, and notes into CSV, then paste or import the result into Google Sheets.
CSV and TSV are plain text table formats. XLS and XLSX are Excel workbook formats with sheets and formatting. Google Sheets is a cloud spreadsheet that imports and exports CSV but can change dates, numbers, and leading zeros if the import settings are wrong.
Use CSVall to preview and prepare the data before it reaches a spreadsheet, especially when formatting matters or when a file uses semicolons, tabs, or unusual encoding.
Markdown tables are common in documentation and GitHub READMEs. PDF tables are common in statements, reports, and invoices. Converting those formats to CSV makes the data usable in spreadsheet and database workflows.
