CSV, TSV, XLSX, and Google Sheets

CSV and TSV are plain text table formats. XLS and XLSX are Excel workbook formats with sheets and formatting. Google Sheets is a cloud spreadsheet that imports and exports CSV but can change dates, numbers, and leading zeros if the import settings are wrong.

Use CSVall to preview and prepare the data before it reaches a spreadsheet, especially when formatting matters or when a file uses semicolons, tabs, or unusual encoding.

When to use Markdown and PDF converters
